STUDENT FEES AND POLICIES 2023

1.  PREPAID PACKAGES: All lessons are prepaid in increments of 2, 4, 12, or 20 lesson options.   Savings increase with the bigger packages.  See here for our package prices.   

2.  A LATE FEE of $10 per month per type of lesson is charged for any overdue tuition.

3.  PAYMENT METHODS: A customer may keep a credit card on file to activate automatic payment for any 2x or 4x lesson package.  The customer may choose to deactivate automatic payment and call or text our front desk to charge before a late fee is applied.  

4. Cancellation/Makeup Lessons: Lessons canceled less than 24 hours in advance can not be refunded or rescheduled.  All cancellations including requests NOT made before 24 hours of the lesson must be made via email or texted directly to 1) your personal instructor AND 2) NMS front desk (emailed: info@neighborhoodmusic.net or Text message at 626-708-0122).  Emergency situations must be approved of by NMS front desk in order to be made up within the month.  Make up lessons will expire at the end of the following month, giving a flexibility time of at least 4 weeks..

5. Vacation & Scheduled Days Off:  Students are not charged for vacation or days off, as long as ample notice is given to both instructor and front desk.    

5. NMS is open all year round and lessons are assumed to take place on all holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas eve, Christmas day, New Years eve, and New Years day.  An instructor may choose to schedule a different day of lessons to make up for those which fall on holidays.

6. Substitute teachers are provided when a student's regular instructor cannot make a lesson.  Alternatively, an instructor may agree to giving extra time on other days to make up for the missed lesson.  If a student declines the substitute teacher option, they should arrange a make-up lessons with their primary teacher, to be used by the end of the following month.

7. In the event of instructor illness, cancellation, or tardiness, the lesson will be credited or made up to the student by the primary or substitute instructor. 

8. Refunds are given for unused lessons in packages, however all discounts are disregarded and lessons revert back to regular prices.  Student may opt to transfer package to another member of the family.

学生费用与规章制度2023


  1. 课程预付包:所有课程均为预付制度,为2,4,12,或20次课程为单位。越大的课程包折扣越大。请点此阅览我们课程包的价格。

  2. 任何迟交的课程费用将会被额外收取每月$10的迟交费。

  3. 付款方式:顾客可预留一张信用卡在学生的账户上从而使用自动付款功能。顾客也可终止自动付款并在迟交之前致电或传讯息至前台以付款。

  4. 取消/弥补课程:没有提前24小时及以上取消的课程将不会被退款或安排弥补课程。所有的取消包括没有提前24小时的取消必须以电话或短信的形式通知我校:1)学生的授课老师。 2)我校前台,邮件地址:info@neighborhoodmusic.net 或短信至 626-708-0122)紧急情况必须由我校前台批准,以便安排在当月补课。弥补课程将会在下个月的同一天过期从而给予最少4周的灵活度。

  5. 节假日:只要学生给出充分的时间通知授课老师以及我校前台,学生不会在节假日被扣除学费。

  6. 我校全年开放,课程将默认进行,除感恩节,圣诞夜,圣诞节,新年夜和新年以外。任课老师可自行视具体情况,另行安排上课时间以弥补节日期间错过的课程。

  7. 如遇原授课老师因故缺席的情况,代课老师将会被安排上课,或由原授课老师自行安排添加另外的课时。如果学生方拒绝校方的代课老师人选,学生需安排原授课老师在一个月内补课。

  8. 教师问题:如遇教师生病,取消,迟到等原因未能上课,课程费用则会退还至学生账户,或者学生将会得到弥补课程,由原教师或代课老师补上。

  9. 未用尽的课程將不会被退款,但可被转赠至亲朋好友。
