MUSIC EDUCATION   

Music Curriculum planning, music arranging, working with small and large groups 

Practicum Dates Include daily summer kid rock band sessions plus a once a week instruction time, or some variation during the school year

• Learning and teaching fundamentals on your instrument

• Music Pedagogy, lesson plans including theory, ear training, technique, repertoire 

• practicum involves coaching younger students

MUSIC BUSINESS

Marketing, Sales, Administration, Policy, Finance, Operations   


Instruction Dates:  1 hour per week, Practicum 6 hours per week

• How to develop policies to fit the situation

• Learn industry software

• Managing people and inventory

• Salesmanship

MUSIC INDUSTRY & PRODUCTION

Practicum Dates include:  summer daily rock band camp or fall/winter/spring rock band rehearsal (1-2 hrs/wk)

• Hands on production of concerts, recordings, and video

• Booking and preparing performance venues
