Bachelor's Degree in MUSIC, EDUCATION, EARLY EDUCATION, or PERFORMANCE
Job Duties:
Teach group and private piano lessons, applying a structured curriculum with flexibility to meet the students'
learning goals;
Develop curriculum, including developing proper techniques, music theory, repertoire, ear training, sight reading
and improvisation skills.
Assess students' abilities, determine skill levels and recommend courses;
Work with current staff to arrange personal and student performance opportunities on an biannual basis at the
least;
Participate in standardized testing programs such as ABRSM, Royal Conservatory, MTAC, Piano Guild when
available and applicable to student needs;
Display love for humanity, music, teaching and learning;
Promote understanding for the merit and value of a wide range of classical and contemporary music.
