Bettering our World:

Neighborhood Music commits 20% of our profits to help children and elderly in need both in our neighborhood in Arcadia, and oversees. Each instrument sold and every music lesson taught supports our efforts to build relationships and  provide resources for those who need it most.

We believe that learning and playing music should be an uplifting, life-giving experience not only for you, but for those who need to hear it. Our President and founder Carolyn Iga is committed to supporting charity and relief work in China, and travels several times a year in order to consult with business, organizations, and individuals to help them rise up in the face of systemic poverty. You can visit her charity work at www.assignmentsinternational.com

Thank you for choosing Neighborhood Music for all your music needs!

Neighborhood Music School Inc. is a values-based company.  This means we view our current and potential teachers not only based on their musical expertise, but their mentoring capacity and authenticity as human beings.  Promotions and raises are based on a 27-point list of values that instructors use to reflect and evaluate themselves on.  They then communicate with their supervisors about their own growth as individuals, mentors and instructors.
